Dictionary Fun

Using the Python-Django framework, this site takes a user's search word and queries the Urban Dictionary API and the Dictionary API to return the various results. This lets users compare the real definition to the Urban definition, which are often very different. Enjoy!

String Comparison Program

This project uses Javascript, HTML, and CSS to take and clean user input strings and compare them. It then computes a percentage based on matches and other criteria and presents it with a loading bar in the shape of a heart.

Opioid Database

Created as an integrated project, this web app built using Python-Django displays information about prescribers and drugs in the United States. It uses a live Postgres database.

Yahzee!

I created this app to learn more about the React framework. A single page site that takes a users number input and rolls five dice till they achieve the user's chosen number. It then outputs how many rolls each dice took.

AutoComplete

This site features a very simple text field with autocomplete functionality using vanilla javascript, css, and HTML. The autocomplete is implemented using a Trie Tree data structure.

Matatu

A fun African card game turned digital! Enjoy the game in real time with friends from anywhere in the world. I used Node.js, Express.js, and Socket.io for the back-end and React.js for the front-end. I'm still working out the kinks (and the design) so be sure to let me know if you find any major bugs!
